Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all services provided by Maxapp GmbH (hereinafter "PayMatch" or "we") in connection with the use of the PayMatch platform for creating and managing invoices, payment reconciliation, and related services.

2. Subject Matter

PayMatch provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for creating QR-bill invoices according to Swiss standards, payment reconciliation via CAMT file upload, and managing customers, products, and recurring invoices.

3. Registration and Account

To use PayMatch, you must register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Services and Availability

PayMatch strives for high platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work may be performed with prior notice. We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue the platform at any time.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices for using PayMatch are indicated on our website. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) including VAT. Payment is made in advance for the chosen billing period (monthly or annually). In case of payment default, we reserve the right to suspend access.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time. Cancellation is done through the platform or by email. Upon cancellation, your access remains until the end of the already paid billing period. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or delete accounts for violations of these T&C.

If you have connected bank accounts via bLink, these connections will be automatically disconnected upon account cancellation. Transaction data will be retained according to legal retention periods as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

6.1 Bank Account Connection (Optional Feature)

Service Description

PayMatch plans to offer an optional feature in the future to connect your bank account for automated transaction retrieval and payment reconciliation via bLink, the Open Banking platform operated by SIX Group AG (Switzerland). This feature is not currently available and is not expected to be implemented in the near future.

Consent and Authorization

By connecting your bank account via bLink, you provide explicit consent for PayMatch to:

  • Access your account information (balance, account details)
  • Retrieve transaction history for payment reconciliation purposes (future feature, not currently available)
  • Store and process transaction data for invoicing and accounting purposes
  • Automatically fetch new transactions at regular intervals (typically every 2 hours)

How It Works

The bank connection process involves the following steps:

  1. You initiate the connection within your PayMatch account
  2. You are redirected to the secure bLink platform for authentication
  3. You select your bank and authenticate using your online banking credentials
  4. You grant explicit consent through Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
  5. Your bank authorizes PayMatch to access your account data (read-only)
  6. PayMatch fetches transactions securely via bLink API

Important: PayMatch never sees, stores, or has access to your online banking login credentials. Authentication is performed directly with your bank through the secure bLink platform.

Scope of Access

  • Read-only access: PayMatch can only view account information and transactions. We cannot initiate payments or make changes to your account.
  • Limited duration: Bank connections typically expire after 90 days and require re-authentication.
  • Revocable at any time: You can disconnect your bank account at any time through your account settings.

Third-Party Service Provider

The bank connection service is facilitated by bLink (SIX Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland), a regulated Account Information Service Provider under Swiss Open Banking standards. SIX Group acts as a technical intermediary and is bound by Swiss banking secrecy and data protection laws.

Your Rights and Control

  • Disconnect at any time: Terminate the bank connection immediately through your account settings
  • Withdraw consent: Disconnecting immediately revokes PayMatch's access to future transactions
  • View connection status: See which accounts are connected, last sync time, and connection expiry
  • Manual alternative: Continue using PayMatch with manual CAMT file uploads if you prefer not to connect your bank

Data Processing and Storage

Transaction data retrieved via bLink is processed and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Banking data is subject to 10-year retention periods as required by Swiss commercial law (OR Art. 958f). Availability and Limitations

The availability of the bank connection feature depends on your bank's participation in the bLink platform. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of this service, as it depends on third-party systems (your bank and bLink). In case of service disruptions, you can continue using PayMatch with manual CAMT file uploads.

Note: Bank account connection is a completely optional feature. PayMatch's core functionality (invoice creation, customer management, payment reconciliation) works without connecting a bank account. This feature requires separate explicit consent during the connection process and can be revoked at any time.

7. Liability

PayMatch is not liable for damages arising from the use or unavailability of the platform, unless there is intent or gross negligence. Liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages. We assume no liability for the accuracy of invoices or payment receipt.

8. Data Protection

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change these T&C at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. If you do not agree to the changed T&C, you may cancel your account.

10. Final Provisions

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland. If individual provisions of these T&C are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
